The PCM Masterclass is an unparalleled 4-day training experience exclusively for graduates of the PCM Workshops One and Two who want to unlock the full potential of PCM. This highly interactive course is tailored to meet the needs and interests of a diverse group of learners who are eager to harness the power of PCM to excel both personally and professionally.
The primary focus of KCO's PCM Masterclass is to deepen participants' PCM skills, with a particular emphasis on the OK-OK, Driver, and Mask behaviours. Depending on the specific requirements of the participants, various aspects of the PCM model will be reviewed and discussed.
Attendance at PCM Seminar 1 and 2 is a prerequisite for the Masterclass. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance rather than a certificate of competence. The Masterclass is intentionally kept small, with a maximum of six participants, to ensure optimal practice outcomes.
The objectives of the PCM Masterclass are:
- to help participants manage themselves better
- communicate and motivate effectively, and
- prevent and defuse distress.
These objectives will be achieved through a range of exercises, including Channel and Perception, Driver and Management of 2nd degree Distress. Participants will also have the opportunity to practice their PCM decoding and interaction skills through team simulations, movie clips, and PCM card games.
The programme also includes an analysis of PCM Personality Inventories including an assessment of team compatibility using real industry examples. Participants have the opportunity to share their experiences and collaborate to develop solutions to existing problems, and strategies for self-management.
The Masterclass provides a minimum of 24 hours of interactive time over four days, with seven working hours per day.
